LIFE is then created by an expert team of publishers, printers and artisan book binders.
At the heart of this process is Ian, a highly accomplished graphic designer, who works personally on every commission. With an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, he designs each book exclusively for you, weaving together photographs, words, and mementos into a seamless narrative.
No two stories are ever alike. Whether it is a wedding, a lifetime adventure, a family milestone, or a life celebrated, every element you wish to preserve can be included. The result is a book that tells your story – beautifully, authentically, and without compromise.
Your journey begins with a private conversation with Pippa. She uses this time with you to really understand your story, your vision, and what matters most to you.
The next step is Pippa's favourite. In this in-depth, collaborative session (either remote or in person), Pippa will go through all your images with you and help you curate the collection that will go in your book. She'll use her years of experience to help you put together a collection that really tells the story you want. She will also help and advise on what artwork to include and offer creative ideas for the project.
The final stage of the process is the printing and binding of the book. This is where your story really comes to LIFE. Every step is carried out with care and attention to detail, making sure your book is perfect.
Finally you get to receive your very own copy of LIFE that captures every special moment of the story you wanted to tell. Snuggle up and enjoy it with your loved ones and friends.

A photo book or album typically focuses only on pictures. LIFE is a curated narrative — a seamless blend of photographs, words, illustrations and design, carefully composed by Ian to tell a rich and lasting story. Each copy of LIFE is a one-of-a-kind and designed to sit proudly alongside the world’s most beautiful books.
That’s where we can help. We can work closely with you to curate the right selection, taking the overwhelm out of the process. You don’t need to have everything perfectly organised — share what you have and we can either go through everything with you in your ‘LIFE Creation Session’ or we can curate a collection for you.
We make it simple. We begin with a ‘LIFE Creation Session’ to understand your story and vision and start bringing all the elements of your story together. This session is either in person or via Zoom. You share your photographs, mementos, and words, and we go through everything together and choose what will go in your book. Of course, if you just don’t have the time or are totally overwhelmed, we can take care of the curation process for you. After this stage is complete, it’s over to Ian to design the first draft of your book. Once you receive your first draft it’s time for you to review and make comments. We can go through as many iterations as you need to get the book just perfect. Once you’ve signed off the final draft, it’s off to printing and binding. Finally, once your book is ready, we'll contact you to arrange delivery.
We recommend all your photographs being sent as high-res JPG files. Depending on your story you may also have iPhone or Android photographs or scanned prints. These are all fine, but we request that you send the highest resolution you can. Scanned artwork should be sent as high-res JPGs or PDFs. All text should be sent as Word or Apple Pages documents. We accept other pieces of artwork as either JPG, TIF, AI, EPS, PDF, or PNG files.
You can send us your images and other files using whatever file sharing service you prefer. We often send and receive files through Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive and WeTransfer. Anything that you would like us to scan, or photograph can be posted to us. We recommend all items posted should be tracked and insured.
We use only the highest quality papers, bindings, and finishes. Every LIFE book is handcrafted by skilled artisans, ensuring it feels as beautiful as it looks and will last for generations.
On average, the process takes around six months from start to finish, depending on the scale and complexity of the story you’d like to tell. If you have a particular deadline in mind, we’ll always do our best to accommodate it.
Yes. Our books are shipped worldwide, carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, wherever you are.
Absolutely. Many of our clients order additional copies as gifts for family and friends. Each extra copy is produced with the same exacting quality as the original.
